A few hours left for 2012 and we're back in our hometown, Volos, to spend some time with friends and family.

We would like to thank every single person who did anything for this tour, everyone that came to the shows and supported us in any way, those who cooked, gave us a floor to sleep and talked to us after the shows. 'Minyma' Balkan Tour 2012

On late December we're gonna make a small tour around the balkans to promote our new 7" called 'Minyma', which will be out by 20 December.

The shows are booked by World's Appreciated Kitsch.

The two shows we had at Larissa and Volos were really awesome and we'd like to thank True To The Game for the show in Larissa and everyone who took part in organizing the 2day DIY Hardcore/Punk Festival at Matssagou Squat, the guys from Riot Squat also, and of course everyone who came to these shows.
We are currently in the proccess of pressing the 7" entitled "Minyma" (which means message), which is going to be released by World's Appreciated Kitsch Records and by us near the end of 2012. A balkan tour will follow the release and we hope to enter the 2013 with lots of shows and tours.

Two next shows

Στις 25 και 26 του Οκτώβρη είναι τα δύο επόμενα μας live.
Στις 25 του μηνός θα μοιραστούμε την σκηνή του Stage της Λάρισας με τους Planet Of Zeus, τους Slab(UK) και τους λαρισαίους Birthday Kicks.

On 25 and 26 of October we have our next two shows.
On 25th we're sharing the stage of the club "Stage" at Larissa with Planet Of Zeus, Slab(UK) and the locals Birthday Kicks.

Την επόμενη μέρα, στις 26, θα πάρουμε μέρος στο 2μερο DIY hardcore/punk Festival #2, που θα γίνει στον Βόλο και συγκεκριμένα στην Κατάληψη Ματσάγγου. Στο fest και τις 2 μέρες θα λειτουργεί από τις 3 το μεσημέρι Vegan κουζίνα και θα ακολουθούν προβολές ντοκιμαντέρ.

The next day, on 26th, we're taking part at the 2day DIY hardcore/punk Festival #2, which will take place in Volos and specifically at Matsaggou Squat. During the 2 days of the fest there will be Vegan kitchen and documentary screenings.

News.

Λοιπόν, το 4μερο μίνι τουρ με τους Καναδούς Haggatha πήγε όπως το περιμέναμε, καταπληκτικά. Όλα τα λαηβ ήταν υπέροχα και ευχαριστούμε από τις καρδιές μας, που συνεχίζουν να χτυπάνε δυνατά παρ' όλη την ζοφίλα γύρω μας, όσους ασχολήθηκαν για να στήσουν κάποιο λάηβ, τις μπάντες που μοιραστήκαμε τα διάφορα πατώματα (Χειμερία Νάρκη, Fields Of Locust, Death Courier, Dreams Fall, Arrakis, και φυσικά τους Haggatha!), καθώς και όλες/όλους που ήρθαν και στηρίξανε το κάθε λαηβ.

Ακολουθεί ένα κειμενάκι που γράψαμε για την επιλογή που κάναμε να αλλάξουμε το όνομα μας.

Αληκτώ. Η αδυσώπητη Ερινύα της αρχαίας ελληνικής Μυθολογίας. Ήταν η τιμωρός απέναντι στα ηθικά εγκλήματα. Αιώνια οργή απέναντι στην έλλειψη Ήθους. 

Τώρα, που έχουμε ξεχάσει εντελώς τις οντότητες αυτές και τους συμβολισμούς τους, η μάζα δεν είναι τίποτα άλλο παρά πιόνια, στα χέρια εκείνων που έχουν καταλάβει και παίζουν το “παιχνίδι”. Η Γη και οι λαοί της βιάζονται με προσχήματα την ελευθερία και τον εκσυγχρονισμό. Η μάζα καταναλώνει ό,τι της σερβίρουν και δυστυχώς είναι περήφανη για αυτό. 

Η απάτη συνηθίστηκε σε όλες τις κλίμακες. Η φυγομαχία μας έγινε χαρακτηριστικό γνώρισμα. Είμαστε ικανοποιημένοι με τα βασικά μας ένστικτα για επιβίωση, έτσι δεν υπάρχει λόγος να χρησιμοποιήσουμε το μυαλό. Η σκέψη είναι σπάνια. Στολίζουμε και χρωματίζουμε τα κελιά – φάσεις μας για να δείχνουν να έχουν νόημα. Φροντίζουμε να ξεχνάμε. Κρίνουμε πριν μάθουμε. Βλέπουμε ό,τι πιστεύουμε. Όμως άλλο η πίστη και άλλο η αλήθεια.

Όλα τα παραπάνω έχουν τη βάση τους σε ένα κακό. Την ανηθικότητα. Η Αληκτώ μας άφησε στην παρακμή μας. Εμείς θα της το θυμήσουμε και θα προσπαθούμε να θυμηθούμε οι ίδιοι, μαζί με εσάς. 

Έτσι, συμβολικά, το νέο όνομα της μπάντας θα είναι “Αληκτώ”. Σιγά – σιγά, θα θυμηθούμε και θα μάθουμε και θα πράξουμε σαν μαχητές, γιατί ο καιρός μας εκπαιδεύει ως τέτοιους, όλους μας.

Οι επόμενες δύο συναυλίες στη Λάρισα και το Βόλο θα γίνουν ως “Eternal Hated”. Από εκεί και πέρα θα είμαστε πλέον οι/η “Αληκτώ”. Οι συναυλίες, τα tours και όλες οι νέες κυκλοφορίες θα γίνουν με αυτό το όνομα.

Τα λέμε στη Λάρισα στις 25/10 με Planet of Zeus και
26/10 στη Ματσάγγου για το διήμερο DIY festival!

So, the 4day mini tour with the Canadians Haggatha went pretty well, as we expected it. All the shows were really good, and from the depths of our hearts, which are still beating non-stop even in this stinking era we're living through, we'd like to thank all these people that did everything they could to set up the shows, the bands we shared the floors with (Hibernation, Fields Of Locust, Death Courier, Dreams Fall, Arrakis, and of course Haggatha!), and also everyone who came and supported these shows.

There follow some words about the choice we made to change our name.

Alectό. The implacable Furie/Erinya of the ancient Greek mythology. The punisher against all moral crimes. Eternal wrath against the lack of morals.

Nowadays, that we have completely forgotten these entities and their symbolisms, the masses are nothing more than pawns in the hands of those who catch and play the "game". The Earth and its peoples are getting raped on the pretext of freedom and modernity. The masses consume everything in their serving and unfortunately they're proud of it.

Fraud is common at all scales. Diverting the battle is now our hallmark. We are pleased with our basic instincts for survival, so there is no reason to use the mind. Thinking is rare. We decorate and color our cells – habits so they seem to make sense. We take care to forget. We judge before we learn. We see what we believe. Yet, beliefs is one thing and truth another.

All of the above happen due to this: Immorality. Alectό left us to our decline. We will remind her and will try to remember ourselves, along with you.

Thus, symbolically, the new name of the band will be "Alectό”. Slowly, we will remember and learn and act as warriors, because these times are training us as such.

The next two concerts in Larissa and Volos will be as "Eternal Hated". After these shows we will be named “Alectό”. The concerts, tours and all new releases will be under that name.

Patras 15/9

Με την Πάτρα το Σάββατο 15 Σεπτέμβρη θα κλείσει το mini-tour με τους Haggatha. Το live θα γίνει στο Prokat35, αυτό-οργανωμένο στέκι στα πανεπιστήμια της Πάτρας, και θα παίξουν επίσης και οι Death Courier.

The last show of the mini-tour with Haggath will be at Patras on Saturday 15th of September. The show will take place at Prokat35, an autonomous prokat in the University of Patras, and Death Courier will also play at this show

Το πρώτο live του mini-tour με τους Haggatha θα γίνει στην Θεσσαλονίκη την Τετάρτη 12 Σεπτεμβρίου 2012, στο οποίο θα παίξουν και οι locals Διχασμένες Αλήθειες.

The first show of the mini-tour with Canadians sludge-ers Haggatha will be at Thessaloniki on Wednesday 12th September 2012, in which will also play the locals Διχασμένες Αλήθειες.

Athens 14/9

Στις 14 Σεπτεμβρίου θα μοιραστούμε το πάτωμα της Καλλιδρομίου με τους Χειμερία Νάρκη και τους Haggatha από τον Καναδά. Το live είναι για την αλληλεγγύη μας στην κατάληψη Villa Vegan του Μιλάνου που απειλείται με εκκένωση. Η είσοδος είναι ελεύθερη. Η οικονομική ενίσχυση κρίνεται παραπάνω από απαραίτητη.

On 14th of September we'll share the floor of Kallidromiou with locals Hibernation and Haggatha from Canada. The show will be in solidarity with the Villa Vegan sqaut in Milan that is facing eviction. The entrance will be free but the financial support is more than necessary.

Some news.

Χθες μπήκαμε στο στούντιο και ηχογραφήσαμε 4 νέα κομμάτια για επερχόμενη κυκλοφορία μέσα στο Φθινόπωρο. Από σήμερα θα ξεκινήσει η μίξη των κομματιών και ελπίζουμε όσο πιο σύντομα να είναι έτοιμα.

Yesterday we entered the studio and we recorded 4 new songs for our next album that will be released during the Fall. The mixing proccess will start today and we hope they will be ready really soon.

Είμαστε στην ευχάριστη θέση να ανακοινώσουμε πως θα παίξουμε 4 συναυλίες με τους Haggatha, ακολουθώντας τους στο τουρ τους στην Ελλάδα, καθώς και στις 25/10 θα μοιραστούμε την σκηνή με τους Planet Of Zeus, τους Slab (UK) και τους Birthday Kicks στην Λάρισα.

Some important news.

Όπως αρκετοί θα ξέρετε ο Σπύρος εδώ και λίγο καιρό είναι στον στρατό, για αυτό και για ένα διάστημα μέχρι να τελειώσει η θητεία δε θα είναι μαζί μας. Η μπάντα συνεχίζει κανονικά με τα υπόλοιπα μέλη. Καλό καλοκαίρι!

Spyros (Chino) will not be with us for some time, until he finishes his duties with the Greek army (it is mandatory in Greece...). However, the band goes on and on!

So,we are very happy to announce that we're gonna have a show in Volos on 17th of January with End Of A Year(USA) and Aficionado(USA).We will also share the stage with locals Stories To Tell.These two bands are coming in Greece for two shows only,in Larissa and in Volos,presented by True To The Game.Make sure you're gonna be at least in one of them.Support your local scene,take a stand and stop moaning in chat rooms.See ya all there.

Eternal Hated

We were formed in the summer of 2007 in order to express ourselves through the music we love.We started as a metalcore band,playing hundrends of lives mainly in Greece,and some in Europe.We released one demo and one full length before we started to experiment.We leave the label metalcore behind as it no longer expresses our music.Actually we can't find a label for what we write...feelings,emotions and music do not fit in labels.We released our new full length album,entitled "26:48 Minutes of Life",on late October 2011.Since then we did one two-shows tour in Turkey and a mini-tour in Balkans,in order to promote our latest work.
